《高级英语2》中语篇"Pub Talk and the King’s English"的体裁应该是discussion;讨论的话题是"‘国王英语’是一个贬义用词,意指人们根本不该使用的语言方式";题目中的"Pub Talk"代指会话,同时它又是语篇论证的载体。语篇题目恰当,所谓的"松散的结构"和"经常的遐想"实际是语篇的多个论证。语篇的语言诙谐幽默,能给大众媒体读者美的享受,符合语篇交际功能的需要。所有这些使得语篇充满着神秘和魅力。
Abstract：The text "Pub Talk and the King's English" in Advanced English(2) published by FLTRP should be discussion. The topical issue is ".... that the phrase 'the King's English' was a term of criticism, that means language which one should not properly use". The title is proper and vivid, with "pub talk" signifying conversation and at the same time serving as the carrier of the arguments in the text. The so-called "loose organization" and "digressions" is exactly the manifestations of the arguments. The language of the text is witty and humorous, which can give the mass media readers a beautiful enjoyment and meet the needs of the communicative function of the text. All of those make the text full of charm and mystery.
