网络空间的空间特征及其与地理空间的相互作用是目前国内外地理学研究的重要命题.应用传统的地理学空间思维方法,选择国内首位综合门户网站新浪网,利用其提供的网民发新闻评论的时间和位置信息,具体揭示网络空间的信息传播规律及与地理空间的关系.最终选择新浪网首页首屏的要闻"陈光标在纽约时报登广告声明钓鱼岛属中国"为研究对象,分析其评论者的时空分布特征.研究发现:1网络空间的信息传播确有跨时空特征,距离与时间对其影响明显减弱.2新闻评论者的空间扩散最初都是"散点式"扩散模式,之后呈现出"不完全填充式"扩散特征.3从新闻评论者的时空分布来看,存在典型的地域差异.无论是四大区间、省级行政区之间、地区之间,还是在手机和电脑的评论方式上.4新闻更新频率和上网工具是影响评论者时空分布的重要因素.同时,网络空间也不是一个脱离地理空间的超空间,后者通过作用于网民和人口特别是城镇人口分布,以及经济发展与作息规律间接影响前者,前者也相应呈现出一定程度的"地理根植性".
Abstract:Spatial characteristics of cyberspace and its interaction with geographic space are currently an important proposition of geography studies at home and abroad. Based on traditional methods of geography spatial thinking, this paper chooses "Sina.com", which is the first domestic comprehensive portal website, as an object to specifically reveal the law of information dissemination in cyberspace and its relationship with the geographical space by using the netizens' time and location information in sending news commentary through this website. Consequently, the paper chooses the important news on the first screen at home page of Sina "Chen Guangbiao Advertised in the New York Times, declaring the Diaoyu Islands belong to China" to analyze the spatial and temporal distribution of its reviewers. The researches indicate that: 1Information dissemination of cyberspace does have characteristics, and the impact of time and distance on it reduced significantly. 2 The spatial diffusion of news reviewers features from the "scattered" model during the initial period to the "non-full fills" model. 3The space-time distribution of news reviewers is imbalanced, not only existing among the four regions or the different provinces and regions, but also in the common ways by mobile phones and computers. 4 News' update frequency and Internet tools are the important factors affecting spatial and temporal distribution of reviewers.
