民间传说可以反映民众对社会历史、价值追求、民间信仰的多方面认知，是民族文化的活化石。通过查阅文献和田野考察，“王莽赶刘秀”的传说在石家庄地区广为流传。该传说的流行与英雄崇拜、民众心理需求以及封建统治者提倡密切相关，是石家庄独特文化品格的集中体现。如今当地有关部门已经采取多种方式，对“刘秀传说在石家庄”这一非遗项目进行了有效的整理和合理的开发，使其不仅能够得以保护和传承，还能在现代社会中发挥更大的作用。

Folklore can reflect the people's multifaceted understanding of social history, value prusuit, and folk beliefs, and is a living fossil of national culture. Through consulting literature and field investigation, the legend of "Wang Mang prusuing Liu Xiu" is widely circulated in Shijiazhuang area. The popularity of legend is closely related to hero worship, people's psychological needs and rulers' advocacy, which is also the concentrated embodiment of Shijiazhuang's unique cultural character. Nowadays, local authorities have taken various measures to effectively organize and develop the intangible cultural heritage project "legend of Liu Xiu in Shijiazhuang", so that it can not only be protected and inherited, but also play a greater role in modern society.
