终身德育思想脱胎于终身教育思想,是一种通过引导激发人的内在潜力,使人的道德在人生各个时期不断发展和完善,从而实现人的全面发展的教育思想。但目前终身德育思想受到的关注度明显不足,相关研究比较欠缺。马克思主义人学关于人的全面发展的理论是终身德育思想的理论基础,在此基础上讨论终身德育思想,对新时期实现人的全面发展、社会的全面进步,办好中国特色社会主义教育,建设社会主义教育强国具有重要的指导意义。
