核心能力与民营企业跨区域扩张——管理者产业环境认知的调节作用

摘要:

跨区域扩张是新形势下中国企业践行高质量发展以及成长为世界一流企业的基础与重要路径。针对实践中很多民营企业坚持固守本地而不愿跨区域拓展的问题,选择企业核心能力理论与管理认知理论的综合视角,以民营上市企业为样本,探讨不同类型的核心能力对企业跨区域扩张的影响,并考虑管理者产业环境认知在其中的调节作用,结果表明:营销能力与研发能力强的企业更有可能实施跨区域扩张战略,管理者产业环境认知在其中起到了调节作用。当管理者更多关注产业环境时,营销能力对于企业跨区域扩张的促进作用会被弱化。

Abstract:

Cross-regional expansion is an important way for Chinese enterprises to enhance their international competitiveness and develop world-class enterprises. In order to solve the problem that many private companies stick to the local market rather than expand across regions in practice, based on the perspective of enterprise core competence and managerial cognition, this paper constructs a theoretical model of the relationship among enterprise core competence, managerial cognition and cross-regional expansion, and then conducts an empirical test based on the data of private listed manufacturing companies in China. The result shows that enterprises with strong marketing and R&D capabilities are more likely to implement cross-regional expansion strategy, in which managerial cognition plays a moderating role. When managers pay more attention to the industrial environment, the promotion effect of marketing ability on cross-regional expansion will be weakened.
