“第二个结合”即把马克思主义基本原理同中华优秀传统文化相结合，其出场与演进根植于具体的时空语境。一方面，从中华优秀传统文化赓续的时间纵轴看，其现代化转型的必要性与可能性消解了传统与现代之间的对立，为“第二个结合”的出场激活了中华文明基因；另一方面，从马克思主义中国化时代化的空间横轴来看，马克思主义与中华优秀传统文化的耦合共生超越了东方与西方的界限，成为“第二个结合”出场的必要条件；此外，在“第二个结合”的时空交融中，孕育出有机统一的中国式现代化文化形态，实现了从民族到世界的跨越，对明确中国定位与推动世界发展具有重要启示意义。

"The Second Combination" refers to the integration of the basic principles of Marxism with fine traditional Chinese culture, whose emergence and evolution root in specific temporal and spatial contexts. On the one hand, from the perspective of the temporal vertical axis of the continuity of fine traditional Chinese culture, the necessity and possibility of its modern transformation have resolved the opposition between tradition and modernity,thus activating the genes of Chinese civilization for the emergence of "the Second Combination". On the other hand,from the perspective of the spatial horizontal axis of the localization and contextualization of Marxism in China, the coupling and symbiosis of Marxism and fine traditional Chinese culture have transcended the boundaries between the East and the West, which has become a necessary condition for the emergence of "the Second Combination". In addition, the integration of time and space in "the Second Combination" has nurtured an organically unified cultural form of Chinese modernization, which has achieved a leap from national to global dimensions and holds important enlightening significance for clarifying China's positioning and promoting world development.
