地理科学是现代人类知识体系11大科学体系之一.在介绍地理科学的学科性质及其在区域发展中作用的基础上,指出了地理类专业学生主要的4个培养方向,并以河北省为例对地理科学、资源环境与城乡规划管理、地理信息系统3个本科专业的社会需求进行了评估.最后,对高校地理类专业就业需求、课程设置与学生期望的错位展开分析,并指出了新升本科院校的6项应对策略.

Geography is one of 11 major scientific systems of human knowledge.Based on the introduction of the nature of geography and its role in regional development,this paper points out the four chief domains of students of geography speciality,and evaluates the employment demand of geography,urban and rural planning & resource management,and geographical information system in Hebei Province.At last,this paper analyzes the malposition of employment demand,students’ expectation and curriculum provision of the college geography speciality,and presentes countermeasures for new colleges.
