20世纪70年代以来,在财政危机与教育认证两大因素的推动下,耶鲁大学构建了归口管理、民主参与、上下联动的内部本科专业评估管理体制,在专业的常规运行质量评估、新专业增设评估以及专业调整评估方面形成了卓有成效的运行机制,为维护专业的一流办学水准发挥了重要作用。从中可以得到以下启示:要树立强烈的专业质量内部监管自觉意识,专业质量监管之本在于育人理念的贯彻,专业质量监管要重视多方的民主参与,专业质量监管以推动专业办精办特为指针,专业质量监管是常态化周期性过程。
Abstract:Since the 1970s, under the traction of the two major factors of financial crisis and education accreditation, Yale University has established an on-campus assessment management of undergraduate majors system characterized by centralized management, democratic participation, and linkage of up and down. It has formed an effective operation mechanism in the assessment of routine operation quality of the major, the evaluation of the addition of new majors and the evaluation of professional adjustment, which has played an important role in maintaining the first-class school running standard of the major. The inspirations can be drawn as following: It is important to establish a strong consciousness of internal majors quality supervision; majors quality supervision lies in educational idea's implementation; majors quality supervision should pay attention to multi-party democratic participation; majors quality supervision should be promoted following guidelines of realizing majors excellence; majors quality supervision is a normal cyclical process.
